What makes DIFF EDUCATION different from other organizations with similar projects?
It is the way in which we will approach the task, the high levels of responsibility that we will always have, and the exclusive construction methods that will be used. We will work with local partners to monitor projects and with the community to help in the process, which will make them feel part of the project. As a result, a highly effective and efficient project will be achieved.
Structure: Each of our schools will provide a classroom for 200 children, providing the necessary support to local teachers to achieve quality education.
60% of our students will be girls: At DIFF EDUCATION we will fight against gender inequality and since girls are much more likely to be out of school than boys, we will provide additional support to these girls who need it most.
Construction system to be used: With a construction system kit, which includes wooden elements, recycled cladding boards, and environmentally friendly materials. Our kit will be made up of construction elements that are easy to handle, both in manufacturing and in transport logistics, as well as in assembly. This process can be completed in a few days. In order to assemble our kits, it will be possible to form community teams. Without requiring heavy equipments, like cranes, etc. We will use thermal materials due to their good heat resistance, lifetime, and no difficult maintenance required.
Collaboration with the local community: DIFF EDUCATION schools is a project in which the communities will be involved. This will be very important for us and for them so that they feel part of the DIFF project from the first moment. Therefore, close collaboration with the local community will be established.
Vegetable garden – learning about planting:
We want every child in Africa to learn how to take advantage of their environment, for example: learning how to grow vegetables. This will allow them to have better nutritional knowledge and as well expand food basics in their communities.
In collaboration with the educators the students will learn how to grow, plant healthy food, and acquire a personal connection to the natural world. In this way we can influence the way of life of each child and their family.
